Patrick enjoyed his first "ants on a log" snack today.

March catch up

Now that March is almost over, I am going to catch up on here.  Ryan returned home so I have gotten behind. The weather has been breaking record highs for the month, it has been in the 70s a number of days in the last week.  It has been raining for two days, so finally the snow has melted.  It's sad to realize that the cold weather will return soon.  Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks:

We had corned beef and cabbage as well as a new recipe: Guiness cupcakes with Bailey's icing.  Very delicious.

Poor Jack got his 4 month shots (late) and soon after came down with a cold.  We imagine his immune system was down a bit.  He still smiled a lot.

Thursday

Patrick got a Thomas the Train matching memory game today.  We played it with the cards facing up because matching is new to Patrick and I thought  this way would be less frustrating.  He loved it (thank you Aunt Sarah and Uncle Loren).  Patrick continued to play with the cards all day.

Ryan returns home after a month this Saturday, thank goodness!  Anybody who is a facebook friend, I have deactivated my account for a while.  I will keep posting lots of family pictures here.

March so far...

Just a bunch of pictures today.

Poor Patrick was a bit sick on Sunday.  He feels better now.

Lots of snow fell in early March. It was the biggest snow this winter.

We got a foot of snow on top of what has been there for months.  It will take forever to melt!

Leap Day

We had a nice leap day.

Patrick broke some rules.

Jack rolled over while I was trying to keep Patrick out of my closet.  It wasn't the first time he rolled from back to tummy, he was just so quiet over there I was surprised when I turned around.

I got some nice leap day flowers.

We had a good dinner.

And Jack smiled and laughed a lot.
