Finally got some collegiate gear for Patrick.  That's all I have for now.  Have a wonderful Leap Day and don't forget to wear your blue and yellow!  We're supposed to have a huge snow storm, we'll see about that.

Tuesday

We received a package from Grandma and Grandpa on Friday.
This is Jack's new sleep sack.  He wears socks to sleep because he scratches to soothe himself sometimes.

And Jack got an adorable, very warm sweatshirt.  He wore it to his 4 month check up at the doctor.  He is healthy, and weighs 15lbs and 7oz.  He was happy and smiling most of the visit.

Patrick did some water painting today and Jack watched, chewed on toys and drooled.

Feb 19

When we first moved in we thought this low counter seemed useless, but Patrick makes good use of it.

Mom saved four of my old Fisher Price little people toys, Patrick loves them.  He begged me to get the school out today.

Tonight we had soup and sandwiches.  Patrick had his soup in a cup (much easier); he called his soup "Patrick's coffee."

I just have a couple of pictures of Jack today.

4 Months

Jack turned four months old today!  Time has flown by.

I wonder if he is already teething a bit, he is drooling like a faucet and trying to eat everything.

Patrick helped me in the kitchen today, he likes checking himself out in the toaster.

Here are a couple of pictures from our walk to the mailbox.  I forgot Patrick's gloves and didn't realize it until he fell into the snow, oops!

Feb 15

Patrick likes Grandma's kindle and they went over letters and numbers.

He also enjoyed a book that he got for Christmas.  I set it aside because he got so many presents at one time. I was very happy to get it out for him on a dull, snowy day like today.  It's a collection of Curious George stories.  Thank you Aunt Cassie and Uncle John, he loves it!

Jack watched Patrick go through his flash cards quite intently, 

he officially found his toes, 

and he sat and smiled a lot.  He has an easy smile and laugh.

Patrick got his first ride in a shopping cart car.

Valentine's Day

We got some nice snow for Valentine's Day.  This is from our kitchen looking out through the dining area.

The boys helped me clean up the kitchen and make cinnamon rolls, our special treat for the holiday.

Patrick also got a special gift from Grandma, a flashlight.  He really enjoys carrying it around and investigating things like closets and dark rooms.  He also liked taking it on our snowy walk to the mailbox (about a block down the road).  

Jack joined us on the walk in the ergo.  He enjoyed getting some fresh air.

This is the first post from the phone. When Patrick hears Jack wake up he runs up to "see Jack." They get along very well so far.

Well, it's been a while and I am not sure if a soul in the world looks at this blog, but I am getting back to it. I have a lot of catching up to do. First, our biggest news, is that our lovely Jack arrived on October 16, 2011. He is a joy and fits right in! I hope to at least post a lot more often now.
